Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Assembler to join our team at Uk Scaffold Access.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in assembling, dismantling, and modifying scaffolding structures.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively on various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Inspect scaffolding for structural integrity and safety compliance before use.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to fabricate scaffolding components.
  • Perform basic masonry tasks as required for scaffold installation.
  • Assist in roof work and ensure proper access for painting or electrical tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any potential issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in scaffold building or related construction roles.
  • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, painting, and masonry will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations within the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to scaffolding structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Valid health and safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (£23.73-£27.18 per hour)
