Scaffolding Structure Technician

This position requires a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team at Uk Scaffold Access.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be proficient in assembling, dismantling, and modifying scaffolding structures. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on various projects.

1. Design and implement scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
2. Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure they meet safety standards.
3. Collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
4. Operate power tools and hand tools with precision to fabricate scaffolding components.
5. Undertake basic masonry tasks necessary for scaffold installation.
6. Support roof work operations and guarantee proper access for painting or electrical tasks as required.
7. Maintain a well-organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
8. Communicate project updates and concerns effectively with team members.

1. Demonstrated experience in scaffold building or related construction roles.
2. Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques is highly desirable.
3. Familiarity with electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, painting, and masonry will be advantageous.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations within the construction industry.
5. Ability to decipher blueprints or technical drawings related to scaffolding structures.
6. Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Capacity to work physically demanding tasks for extended periods in varied weather conditions.
8. Preferred but not mandatory: valid health and safety certifications.

• Salary: £28,000 per annum (£24.29 per hour).
