About the Role

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Scope Physiotherapist to join our Fracture Clinic Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care to patients with fractures and soft tissue pathologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work autonomously in delivering clinics alongside Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons
  • Provide initial assessment and diagnosis, identifying and interpreting appropriate investigations
  • List patients for surgical and therapeutic procedures and follow up on their care
  • Manage patients with a wide range of acute musculoskeletal conditions

Requirements

  • Significant experience of managing patients with acute musculoskeletal conditions
  • Post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position
  • Demonstrable high-level clinical reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
