About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join our Respiratory Physiology Service at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical services for the investigation and treatment of respiratory and non-respiratory disorders.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with the service lead to provide a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment service, utilizing their expertise in respiratory physiology and therapeutics. This will include conducting routine and specialized investigations, as well as therapeutic interventions, to advanced level.

Requirements

  • Clinical Physiology/MSc or equivalent degree
  • ARTP/RCCP/AHCS qualified
  • Knowledge of specialist procedures acquired through specialist/management courses or training/experience to advanced level

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Teaching qualification
  • Commissioning experience
