Lockton has a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Broker to join our ambitious and growing UK Wholesale division in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a panel of Producing Brokers – build relationships and be main contact for day to day queries, effective and timely day-to-day servicing of an existing portfolio of policies for this panel of producing brokers.
  • Collaborate with the Placement Team to obtain terms for new enquires and renewals requiring rebroke, dealing with up to 30 renewals per month.
  • Handling multiple lines of business, including Commercial Combined, Combined Liability, Professional Indemnity, Contractors All Risks.
  • Regular direct contact with our UK Brokers, identifying opportunities for business development and new enquiries.
  • Collaborate with Operational Excellence team to ensure timely documentation issue, premium collection and allocation to insurers.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and independently whilst prioritising your workload.
  • An awareness of regulatory controls and a familiarity with bespoke IT programs.
