Are you looking for a challenging role in a dynamic FMCG environment? Maintech Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our rapidly growing automation team.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, experience in FMCG or automated environments, and be confident working both mechanically and electrically.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing both reactive and planned maintenance on automation equipment.
- Undertaking machine start-up, routine & non-routine, and planned shutdown as required.
- Communicating machine status & performance across shift teams for effective handovers.
- Maintaining and repairing automated bagging systems, conveyors, high-bay cranes, auto stores, robots, etc.
Requirements include:
- Apprentice-trained Engineer or NVQ/C&G Level 3 or greater with an electrical or mechanical bias discipline.
- Desirable experience with Conveyors, Cranes, Sortation, and Hanging garment.
