Hydraulic Service Engineer Role

We are seeking experienced Hydraulic Service Engineers to join our technical team in Plymouth. Our client is a leading supplier of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Mechanical engineering services and products, covering various industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thorough understanding of general engineering and hydraulic systems, or a good engineering background in general mechanical engineering or marine/plant/agriculture equipment service work.
  • BFPA level 1 & 2 certificate in mobile / industrial hydraulics or a recognised time served apprenticeship or proven experience.
  • A basic understanding of electrics/electronics would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Work within the guidelines of the Company Quality Management System.
  • Carry out engineering work at the service centre, on-site, and at customer's premises, as requested by the line management.
  • Ensure that all work designated is completed to specification, in accordance with the Company's procedures and quality standards.
  • The work will involve 80% on site and 20% in the workshop.
  • Experience in bending/fitting and welding hydraulics pipe.
  • The role will have the need for some overseas travel, paid for by the company.
