Job Overview

Card Factory is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Mablethorpe store, focusing on customer experience, colleague development, and commercial growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering business objectives and developing a team culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive commercial growth, including stock management and merchandising.
  • Coach and train colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Recruit and manage a team of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Assistants, ensuring they reflect our values and behaviors.
  • Make informed decisions about stock availability and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the business and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the store team, District, and Regional Managers to encourage continuous improvement and growth.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Previous experience as a Store Manager in a retail environment, working collaboratively with wider stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience in leading and developing a team of colleagues, with a focus on customer satisfaction and commercial growth.
  • Ability to work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a fast-paced environment.
