Job Title: Wheels and Tyres Operative

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Wheels and Tyres Operative at our site in Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day provision and maintenance of processing wheels and tyres for resale or recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance wheels to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair punctures and damage to wheels and tyres
  • Inspect wheels on a wheel balancer to determine suitability for resale
  • Clean and prepare wheels for resale, including obtaining correct specifications
  • Input data into our computer system to create relevant tags
  • Image and store wheels in designated locations
  • Process online sales orders and liaise with dispatch for courier collection
  • Assist Counter Sales serving customers face-to-face
  • Adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role working with wheels and tyres is desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Must be able to lift and handle heavy weights safely
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
