Wheels and Tyres Technician

Job Title: Wheels and Tyres Technician
SYNETIQ is seeking a skilled Wheels and Tyres Technician to join our team at our Doncaster site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day provision and maintenance of processing wheels & tyres that are suitable for resale or recycle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Balance wheels to ensure they are properly fitted and ready for resale
- Repair punctures and check wheels on a wheel balancer to determine if they are not damaged and suitable for resale
- Clean wheels and obtain the correct specification for each wheel, including manufacturer, width, diameter, and stock number
- Input data into our computer system to create relevant tag numbers
- Image wheels and store them in the correct locations/shelves
- Process online sales orders and liaise with dispatch to ensure timely delivery
- Assist Counter Sales in serving customers face-to-face
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role working with wheels & tyres is desirable
- Ability to work in a competent and efficient manner
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multitask methodically
- Must be able to lift and handle heavy weights in a safe manner
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weathers
