Experienced Residential Manager for Children's Home

SalaryThe salary for this role is up to £30,000 per annum, including sleep-in shifts.
Job DescriptionAs an experienced Residential Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Statement of Purpose is in place and reflects the appropriate needs of the young people we support. You will also be responsible for developing effective communication strategies and systems to ensure that staff are able to operate effectively in their roles.
You will manage a range of quality direct services to young people, ensuring that North Lakes' policies and procedures are implemented. This will include identifying staff training and development needs and ensuring that these needs are met. You will also be responsible for regular health and safety inspections to ensure compliance with North Lakes' policies and procedures.
In addition to your management responsibilities, you will provide leadership and vision to staff within the home, ensuring that effective systems are in place for workload allocation and management. You will also be responsible for managing a designated budget and ensuring that the company achieves value for money in all circumstances.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A qualified and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager, with a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work well as part of a small team.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and the ability to cover at other residential homes as and when needed.
