Senior Project Manager

Marshall is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Cambridge. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of projects, ensuring timely delivery of equipment versions/variants to agreed project timescales within a larger programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Project IPT for designated/assigned projects, working with the lead Programme Manager/Director and functional teams to form the Organisational Breakdown Structure and the associated Responsibility Matrix (RAM).
- Manage and resolve matters relating to costs, work schedules, commercial technical and production issues.
- Support the delivery of subcontracts and subcontract relationships, ensuring delivery is in line with project and overall programme needs.
- Ownership of the Project budget, leading and approving allocation to the appropriate Work Package and associated WBS items.
- Proactively and effectively lead all associated bid, project and programme risks, collaborating with assigned Project IPT colleagues.
- Accountable for the Project Change Management regime, leading the Project IPT in monitoring of 'Change' in time, cost, quality.
- Experienced in 'front line' project management roles, ideally in the defence domain.
- Some knowledge of engineering development techniques for projects, including technical requirements management, development and qualification validation and verification phases.
- Awareness of post-delivery support, including in-service product modification, with an understanding of DRACAS (Data Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System).
- Worked within, or lead multi-functional teams in a collaborative matrix-managed 'IPT' environment.
- Ideal experience of procurement and supply-chain contract delivery and manufacturing processes in principle.
