Page Executive is proud to partner with a leading Consumer Goods Manufacturer in their search for a seasoned Manufacturing & Supply Chain Director. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the company's rapid growth, with over triple-digit expansion in the last 5 years.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the company's operations and supply chain management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer demand.
  • Oversee all aspects of production, including manufacturing, procurement, inventory management, and distribution, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while optimizing costs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare for international travel to support global business needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • You will be an experienced manufacturing, supply chain, and operations director with a background in consumer goods.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Experience of sourcing/manufacturing in the Far East is essential.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective operational strategies.
  • Sound knowledge of supply chain management principles, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Based/commutable to Essex, prepared for international travel.
