Job Summary:
XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited is a leading logistics provider in the UK, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our team in Rochester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for transportation.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, life insurance, and 25 days annual leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and repairing heavy goods vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Identifying and addressing any technical issues with our vehicles
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and diagnostic tools
