We're seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Scout Unite Ltd
About the Position:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers, adhering to VOSA standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Handle vehicles carefully and maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
- Liaise with the parts department for timely part acquisition.
- Complete job cards and service sheets accurately and promptly.
- Provide roadside assistance for disabled vehicles.
What We're Looking For:
- HGV and PSV driving licences.
- IRTEC Accreditation.
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Current driving licence.
Salary and Benefits:
A competitive salary of £40,000 per annum is available for this role, which is based on industry standards and the location of Scout Unite Ltd.
