Project Overview:

This £60m Retirement scheme in Cambridge presents a unique opportunity for a skilled Finishing Manager to lead the finishing department on a prestigious residential project.

The project comprises 132 one, two, and three-bedroom flats with care, communal health, wellbeing, and leisure facilities, public open space, landscaping, car parking, access, and associated development and public access countryside park.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finishing works, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the finishing department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.

• Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement finishing strategies.

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a finishing management role, preferably on large-scale residential projects.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
