Administrative Support Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized School Administrator to join our team at an excellent school in Hull. This is a temporary role, starting ASAP, and lasting until at least October 25th, 2024. As this role is to cover an open vacancy, there is a chance for this role to extend in the future, or even become a permanent position, if the candidate is successful in the role and is enjoying the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meeting visitors to the school and providing a welcoming atmosphere
  • Answering inbound calls and directing to the relevant departments
  • Maintaining the admin email address
  • Issuing ID passes for visitors/external staff members
  • Assisting organizing meeting rooms/preparations of meetings
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a busy office environment
  • Experience supporting within UK schools (ideal)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
