Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recovery Nurse to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the recovery of post-surgical patients.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise as a Recovery Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the daily planning and organization of the recovery area for clinical procedures
  • Providing individualized care and maintaining high-quality evidence-based clinical care
  • Maintaining quality of nursing care and achieving set standards
  • Monitoring and administering controlled drugs
  • Participating in post-anaesthetic/operative care and temperature monitoring

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified nurse registered with the NMC and have experience working in a recovery or surgical ward setting. You should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £32,000 and £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.
