The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Supervisor to join our team at Abbott Nutrition in Maidenhead. This role will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of all financial planning processes, including consolidation, reporting, and management analysis for the EMEA Area of Abbott's Nutrition Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Monthly Sale Flash Process, preparing templates, consolidating data, validating results, and refining commentary to align with causal analysis.
  • Support consolidation and analysis of the Quarterly RLBE and Annual Planning processes, including preparation and review of the EMEA Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Currency Exchange, and Risks/Opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis of EMEA monthly/quarterly/year-to-date financial results, highlighting and investigating key variances.
  • Coordinate the month-end close process, assisting affiliates as needed to ensure accurate results and financial records.
  • Support affiliates in resolving issues requiring elevation or investigation across a wide range of topics, including transfer price, COGS, and TCGM, as well as HOST Analytics planning software.
  • Work with stakeholders to manage EMEA Area departmental budgets, providing analysis and monthly LBE forecasting of financial position.
  • Responsible for balance sheet reporting, including DOH and DSO each month for financial close.
Requirements
  • Understanding of commercial FP&A and technical accounting issues.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and concisely communicate the business implications of forecasts and actual results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface across all affiliates within the Area.
  • Strong PC/system skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
