A competitive salary package of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum is available, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, investigate non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, promote a culture of excellence, and foster open communication.
- Error Reporting and Investigation: Identify and address errors, near misses, and other incidents, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- COSHH Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments and COSHH evaluations to guarantee a safe working environment.
Please note that a valid HCPC registration and specialist portfolio in microbiology are mandatory. Additionally, a management qualification to ILM level 3 or relevant experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with laboratory information management systems, computer applications, and microbiological techniques would be advantageous.
