Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in a Project Engineering Lead role. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability of building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct site visits and attend meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment
  • Prepare project reports, budgets, and schedules, and manage project documentation to track progress and identify potential issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, building trust and managing expectations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring delivery within budget constraints and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery and minimize potential losses
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD to produce technical drawings and models, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections and tests as required by regulatory and building codes, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a strong focus on project management and construction methodologies
  • Proven experience in project management in the construction industry, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong knowledge of building design, construction methodologies, and project management principles, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a focus on utilizing technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery
