About the Role:

As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing engineering resources, planning capacity, mentoring the team, solving complex problems, and being the interface between engineering and other key departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead all engineering projects from inception to successful completion

  6. Quickly provide effective solutions to engineering challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  7. Maintain close liaison with Operations and Sales teams to align engineering activities with overall business goals
  8. Act as the primary engineering contact for customers, ensuring requirements are fully understood and delivered

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
  2. Experience of Project Management or Technical Management in a process-driven, safety-critical environment
  3. Strong technical mindset, ideally with knowledge of the Defence/Aerospace industry
  4. Results-oriented, capable of planning and delivering projects within set deadlines
  5. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of optimizing team performance and successfully managing engineering projects
  6. Strong relationship management skills, able to engage, negotiate, and influence key stakeholders and suppliers
  7. Experience managing project budgets with a commercially astute approach
  8. Proficiency in project management software, alongside strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
