Crisis Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Crisis Nurse to provide immediate mental health support and intervention to individuals experiencing a crisis in Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization techniques
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effectiveness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop crisis management plans
  • Offer emotional support and counseling to individuals and their families
  • Facilitate referrals to appropriate mental health services and resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress
Requirements:
  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience in mental health crisis intervention
  • Excellent assessment and crisis management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Empathy and compassion for individuals in crisis
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from £35 to £48, depending on your experience and qualifications. This role provides an opportunity for professional growth and development within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
