Lead Air Conditioning Engineer

JL Facilities is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in various commercial environments, including retail, commercial office space, listed buildings, and high-end residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform scheduled service and maintenance visits on a variety of air conditioning systems, including split, VRF, hybrid HVRF, CRAC, MVHR, and AHUs.
  2. Commission newly installed systems and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  3. Liaise with the Service & Maintenance Manager to identify and procure replacement parts.
  4. Collect data, write detailed reports, and create F Gas logs and asset lists using Big Change field engineer software.
  5. Train and mentor junior engineers and trainees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
