Evelina London Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Occupational Therapist to take on a specialist role within our team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing specialist out-patient assessment and intervention for children and young people with upper limb difficulties.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and neurologists, to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients. Your expertise in tone management and goal-directed upper limb assessment and intervention approaches will be invaluable in this role.

The post holder will need to work Wednesday and Friday as the main clinic days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist out-patient assessment and intervention for children and young people with upper limb difficulties.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to patients.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance and assurance processes to ensure patient safety and compliance with mandatory training.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice and critically appraise literature in the field of occupational therapy.

The salary for this position is approximately £61,927 to £68,676 per annum, depending on experience.
