Job Summary
Rogers McHugh Recruitment seeks a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Commercial team in East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing budgets, subcontractor contracts, and project costs across residential developments.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities, budgets, and material schedules.
  • Manage subcontractor tenders, agreements, and progress payments.
  • Ensure timely forecasting and monthly cost reporting.
  • Provide site support, conduct valuations, and oversee complex projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in residential construction. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial management, budgeting, and negotiation skills. An HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction Studies is essential. Knowledge of NHBC building regulations and construction sequencing is also required. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and IT proficiency are necessary for this role. A full UK driving license is mandatory.

Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, an annual discretionary bonus, contributory pension, private medical insurance, death-in-service cover, and free parking.
