About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Educational Specialist to join our team at Preston Lodge High School, serving the communities of Cockenzie, Port Seton, Longniddry, and Prestonpans.

As an Educational Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students from S1 to S6, focusing on teaching relevant subjects through various levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taught assigned classes with associated preparation and correction
  • Developed the school curriculum to meet the needs of all students
  • Assessed, recorded, and reported on student progress
  • Prepared students for examinations and assisted with their administration
  • Provided guidance and advice to students on educational matters
  • Promoted and safeguarded student health, welfare, and safety
  • Worked collaboratively with parents, support staff, and other professionals
