Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a Functional Assessor, you will conduct initial reviews and assessments to evaluate how a claimant's health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.
You will be working with claimants over the phone, on a video call, or in person, either at one of our assessment centres or in their homes. Your role will involve observing and reporting on an individual's ability to carry out activities, analysing and interpreting clinical information, and supporting evidence to create comprehensive reports for the DWP.
This is a challenging role that requires excellent observational and communication skills, as well as the ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute and use IT systems such as MS Teams.
The salary for this position is £41,500 per annum, plus a retention bonus of up to 10% once you achieve remote approved status, and up to 10% once you achieve face-to-face delivery status.
