This exciting opportunity is available for Healthcare Support Specialists to join the Care at Home Team in Lochaber. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care services, working effectively with clients to promote optimal self-care and independence.

The post holder will be expected to adhere to NHS Highland policies and procedures, as well as relevant local and national standards. Confidentiality is of utmost importance, and applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Continuous professional development is essential for this role, and the successful candidate will be required to participate in relevant training activities to meet identified objectives. This includes completing the SVQ Health and Social Care Level 3, which is essential for registration with the SSSC.

This role operates within a rota system, requiring flexible and unsociable hours, including weekends. Post holders must be willing to work across the Lochaber region, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

A current UK driving license and use of a personal vehicle for work purposes are mandatory requirements.

We offer a competitive salary of £27,431 - £32,640 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. As a member of our team, you will contribute to shaping the future of healthcare in Scotland, making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
