Nurse Specialist

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 5 General Nurse to join our team at Bradbury House (Health Respite in Coventry). As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic clinical care to children and young people with a learning disability and complex health needs, including those with Autism.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of settings. You will work closely with children, young people, and their families to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing and clinical care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
- Support the development and implementation of care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medication safely and effectively, in line with Trust policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
- Lead and support the team on duty, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Person Specification:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
