Job Title: Clinical Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with arrhythmias.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in running arrhythmia clinics, including rapid access, pre-admission, new patient, and follow-up clinics.
  • Develop advanced practice functions, including clinical history taking, non-medical prescribing, and physical examinations skills.
  • Interpret electrocardiograms to inform rapid access arrhythmia and syncope assessment, management, and pre-admission clinics.
  • Coordinate the development and review of comprehensive health information for arrhythmia patients and their carers.
  • Provide continuity of patient care on a daily basis, following the patient's journey from pre-admission/admission, discharge, and follow-up/continuous support.
