About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) team. As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our operations in the EU region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional programs and projects, utilizing project-management methodologies to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, defining standards and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand their work and share expertise, identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement.
A Day in the Life

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work and what you and your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise.

About the Team

Amazon's Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is a diverse and dynamic group that plays a central role in our success. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a team that captures data and uses it to drive decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs or projects using project-management methodologies.
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
