Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Car Transporter Operator

Proman Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver - Car Transporter Operator to join our team. As a Class 1 Driver - Car Transporter Operator, you will be responsible for transporting new cars and commercial vehicles to dealer outlets and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate ROLFO/TE+11 equipment (or similar) to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading vehicles, restraints, working at height, and in all weather conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and work closely with the H&S team to implement improvements and share lessons learned.
  • Coach newly qualified drivers on all aspects of the role, including health and safety, completion of inspection and delivery documentation, and propose improvements.
  • Prepare and present educational material for newly qualified drivers.
  • Support the team and promote a collaborative and positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a current C+E/HGV 1 license and a valid driver CPC & DIGI card.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Car Transporter Driver is essential, and you must hold the relevant license and required experience.
  • Dedication to customer focus, to meet the expectations and requirements of all internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively.
  • Good organization and planning skills.
  • No more than 6 points, no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes.
  • A good level of physical fitness.
