About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and HACCP.
  • Manage kitchen supplies, equipment, and inventory to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with central support teams to ensure nutrition standards compliance and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Provide training and support to kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
  • Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
