Electrical Maintenance and Repair Specialist

At United Parcel Service of America, Inc, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our package handling facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including inspection, troubleshooting, and replacement of components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment, such as conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.
  • Respond to facility alarms and emergencies, and troubleshoot problems that arise within the sortation system and facility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC and DC circuits, and experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
