Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at United Parcel Service of America, Inc. As a key member of our package handling facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all plant equipment is in good working order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to facility alarms and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshoot problems with the sortation system and facility, using your technical expertise to resolve issues quickly.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering.
  • Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and repair.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Clean UK driving license.
