Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Swains Park plant in Swadlincote. As a key member of our site team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to our packing and material handling operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of electrical and mechanical maintenance and plant reliability, including breakdown cause and availability analysis.
- Identify and manage safety and energy opportunities.
- Deliver site-based projects, providing a high level of technical support.
- Report directly to the Site Manager and work closely with the site teams and UK engineering team.
- A time-served electrical technician with experience within an industrial environment.
- Additional experience in mechanical fitting, welding, and industrial automation would be desirable.
- Able to work autonomously supporting maintenance activities.
- Capable of identifying solutions to maintenance, operational, and reliability issues.
- Skilled in completing preventive maintenance inspections on automated packing and palletizing equipment.
