Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Approx £42k
Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, shift rota covering 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (Double Days).
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team within the manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical equipment at our facility.
- Perform routine and complex mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations.
- Work to our planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Provide technical support for projects and contribute your expertise.
- Carry out modifications and installations on-site.
- Provide on-call cover and be available for overtime if required.
- A times-served engineer who has completed a recognised apprenticeship such as an NVQ or City and Guilds in Maintenance Engineering.
- Competent in mechanical/electrical repairs, fault finding, and basic welding and fabrication.
