We are looking for a Survey Equipment Engineer in Oxfordshire, UK, offering a salary of £50,000 annually.

This role involves maintaining and managing survey equipment and systems, working with cutting-edge geophysical equipment and techniques.

Main Tasks:

  • Evaluate and improve survey equipment performance to ensure optimal results.
  • Design and assemble survey systems according to specific requirements.
  • Provide support to survey teams with their mobilisation needs.
  • Investigate and resolve issues that occur during surveys.
  • Work closely with the R&D team to develop and enhance data collection systems.
  • Implement and manage regular calibration routines for all equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of electronic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to assemble complex equipment and systems.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing electronic faults.
  • Practical skills in electronic, electrical, and mechanical workshops.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including PCB design.
