About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team at their state-of-the-art facility. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and condition-based monitoring on key equipment and machinery
  • Support and encourage a programme of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and assist with the training of colleagues
  • Carry out additional maintenance tasks across UK sites as required
  • Ensure accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences are dealt with in accordance with company standards
  • Assist and train machine operators to ensure continuous improvement
  • Update daily activity reports and analyse system, line, and product performance
Requirements:
  • Maintenance Engineer experience in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
  • Formal Electrical or Mechanical qualifications backed up with suitable training and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience of using CMMS or EAM systems
  • Proven experience in driving through continuous improvement activities
Working Conditions:

The role will require shift work on a 4 on 4 off basis rotating days and nights. Each shift will be 12 hours, and some flexibility on start and finish times is required.
