The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children or young people with disabilities, ideally within an educational setting. They will possess a strong understanding of disability support strategies and effective techniques to promote inclusion and accessibility. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with diverse needs are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with disabilities, assisting them with their academic, social, and personal development.
  • Implement personalised strategies and interventions to support the unique needs of each student, fostering their independence and confidence.
  • Assist teachers in developing and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning programmes.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and relevant professionals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and engagement of all students.
  • Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to supporting students with disabilities.

Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)

Location: Romsey
