We are looking for a highly skilled Process Improvement Engineer to join our team at ITP's Sheffield facility. As a key member of the quality team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and ensuring quality standards in metals fabrication, welding, and forging.

Responsibilities:
  • Process & Product Improvement:
    • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement continuous improvements.
    • Use Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Lead initiatives to resolve quality issues, minimize non-conformances, and improve product yield.
    • Evaluate current quality practices and introduce innovative solutions to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Quality Assurance & Control:
    • Ensure fabricated, forged, and welded components meet internal and external quality standards.
    • Perform inspections, testing, and audits at various production stages.
    • Develop and implement quality control plans tailored to welding, fabrication, and forging processes.
    • Conduct visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing to ensure product integrity.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 9001 and ASME. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in quality engineering is required.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus pension contribution and ongoing career development opportunities.
