Job Title: Chef De Partie

Location: A prestigious country pub in the heart of the countryside.

Salary: £28,000 + Tronc

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie to join our client's talented kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality food, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional presentation and flavor.
  • Assist in the creation of daily menus and specials, taking into account seasonal produce and customer preferences.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely manner, meeting our quality standards and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen team, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • A deep passion for cooking and a commitment to quality, with a strong understanding of flavor profiles and presentation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, due to the rural location.
