Hales Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team in the construction industry. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document field testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, aggregates, and asphalt to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Monitor and assess the quality of materials delivered to sites, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
• Accurately record test results, compile reports, and communicate findings to the project team.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel to support smooth project execution.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Civil Engineering or Engineering background is ideal.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
• A positive, can-do attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges are required.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying work environments is necessary.
