We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Youth Work team at Hawick High School.

The successful candidate will strive to provide exciting and challenging developmental opportunities for young people, creating a supportive environment where they can learn, discover new ideas, and thrive.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in ACT foundation, ACT Youth Work 1, or First Steps training, as well as experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities for young people.

This is a part-time position, with 15 hours per week worked during school term only. The salary will be pro-rated accordingly, reflecting the hourly rate of £15.38-£16.64.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning activities for young people.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Youth Work team to achieve shared goals.
