Role Overview

Pinsent Masons, a leading alternative legal services provider, is seeking a skilled professional to join our Managed Legal Services (MLS) team as a Delivery Manager. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services to our practice groups and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Line manage a team of paralegals focused on delivering work to both lawyers and external clients, including day-to-day supervision, training, and development.
  • Supervise the delivery of legal services to end-users, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Provide service delivery management support on engagements as required, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
  • Continuously develop and improve delivery models to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
  • Develop effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
  • Work with Resource Management to effectively manage the allocation of work, monitor, and manage capacity and workload levels.

Requirements

  • Alternative legal services experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a high-performing team of legal professionals.
  • Experience in managing the delivery of legal services, influencing stakeholders, and promoting the benefits of alternative service delivery models.
  • Significant experience of working with performance metrics to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
