About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Lecturer to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As a Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to our students, preparing and delivering subject specialisms within Business.

About You:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in a Business-related subject.
  • Have a PGCE / Cert Ed qualification or be willing to work towards it.
  • Have English and mathematics at GCSE grade A-C (4 or above) or equivalent.
  • Have recent professional updating in Business teaching and learning.
  • Have recent experience teaching and assessing a range of Business programmes in an FE environment.
  • Have knowledge of awarding body requirements such as BTEC, Gateway, NCFE and City & Guilds.
  • Have evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobs.
  • Have experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Have evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role.
  • Have experience of working constructively to achieve team objectives and deadlines.
