About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-quality service and maintenance to HVAC systems across a wide range of customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on various HVAC equipment installed at client facilities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within set timeframes.
  • Commission, service, repair, and install HVAC systems to meet customer specifications and expectations.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentoring to less experienced service team members.
  • Ensure health and safety is at the forefront of all work activities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Engineer, with chiller experience a plus.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in HVAC, including NVQ level 2 or equivalent F-Gas Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components, including DX, Split & VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant.
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, and Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
