Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a seasonal opportunity? Hiring People has an opening for a Site Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, maintaining site facilities, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
**Job Details:**
- Salary: £10,000 - £14,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Job type: Seasonal contract, working 40 hours per week
- Location: The successful candidate must be willing to work across the UK, including Scotland and Northern Ireland
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all customers, guiding them to their designated pitches
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and grounds maintenance duties
- Undertake daily cleaning tasks for site facilities, toilet and shower blocks, reception, and service areas
- Process bookings via telephone and face-to-face using our bespoke system
- Effectively manage the check-in and check-out process and update the system accordingly
- Support the emergency phone during out-of-hours periods on a rota basis
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in club-organized training courses
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential health and safety concerns
**Requirements and Skills:**
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or similar setting
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use handheld machinery after receiving necessary training
- Valid right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving license
- Ownership of a caravan/motorhome/campervan/RV at the time of application
