Pool Attendant

The role of a Casual Lifeguard at Fusion Lifestyle is to ensure a safe and enjoyable customer experience for all users of the Centre's facilities.

As a Casual Lifeguard, you will work on a casual, zero-hour basis, performing various duties such as cleaning assigned areas, setting-up and breaking-down activities and events, and conducting pool testing according to procedures.

You will also actively engage with members of the public, encouraging repeat bookings, dealing with customer queries, and delivering a high level of customer service at all times.

To be considered for this role, you must be a strong swimmer, have excellent customer service skills, and possess a UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification.

You should also have a good understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and be able to exercise these in the workplace.

Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication skills, including the ability to appropriately correct behaviour of pool users, and be able to quickly build trust and rapport with customers.

High standards of physical fitness are also required, as well as the ability to deliver first-class customer service to a diverse client base.

Flexibility is key in this role, as you will be required to work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends, early mornings, and late evenings.
